Our Interactive Teller Machines, known as ITMs, can do almost everything our Banking Associates can do on YOUR schedule and without waiting in line. 

ITM Functions

  • View and make transactions on ALL your FNB accounts, not just those on your card
  • Make FNB loan payments
  • Transfer between all FNB accounts that you have access to
  • Deposit up to 50 checks or bills at a time
  • Cash checks
  • Change your PIN number on your card
  • Print mini-statements
  • Select denominations (100s, 20s, 5s and 1s) for your cash (denominations may vary by location)
  • Make withdrawals up to $5,000 (with video chat assistance)
  • Use the 'HELP' button to speak with a Phone Banking Consultant via video for assistance with any of these functions
  • Extended hours! Our Phone Banking Consultants are available to assist you at the ITM until 6PM, Monday through Friday.

What is an ITM?

An ITM is an Interactive Teller Machine. ITMs allow you to speak with Phone Banking Consultants through two-way live video. You get the same great service from our tellers in a simpler, more secure way.

How do ITMs work?

Members simply touch the screen to get started and one of our tellers will appear onscreen. After that, your teller will guide you through your transaction. It’s that easy!

How do I begin using an ITM?

Simply touch the HELP button on the screen and you will be connected with the next available Phone Banking Consultant. For regular ATM transactions, just insert your card.

What type of transactions can I do at an ITM?

Most in-person transactions can be done at an ITM, including cashing checks, cash and check deposits, cash withdrawals, loan and mortgage payments and transfers.

Will I need to complete a deposit slip for an ITM transaction?

No, deposit slips are not needed with ITM transactions.

Why is FNB using ITMs?

We always want to provide our customers with enhanced convenience and personalized service while leveraging the latest technology. Our ITMs allow us to serve you more efficiently.

Will there still be FNB employees working in branches with ITMs?

Absolutely! Even with the ITMs, there will always be FNB employees in our branches during our lobby hours to help you. Whether you need assistance with your transaction, opening an account or applying for a loan, our Banking Associates will be happy to help.

Are ITMs replacing FNB employees?

No, when you use an FNB ITM, you are served by one of our FNB employees working in our Phone Center. There are still employees in the branch ready to assist you when needed.

Are ITMs the same as ATMs?

No. ITMs can do many more types of transactions than ATMs. The ITMs do all the same functions as ATMs, including withdrawing cash and making a deposit. The ITMs are ideal for transactions that require assistance from a bank employee.

Which locations have ITMs?

Currently our Northeast Harbor and Wiscasset branches, as well as our machine located at Ames Supply in Wiscasset, have ITM capabilities. We will continue to update this page and let you know when ITMs will be available at a branch or drive-thru near you!

Will the same employee handle my transactions? Can I choose?

We have a team of Phone Center members, so you may not always speak to the same person. Instead, the next available associate will be able to assist you. 

Do ITMs dispense coins?

Some of our ITMs can dispense coins. The machines that cannot, will offer you the option of depositing the change to your account.

Are transactions made at an ITM safe and secure?

Absolutely! In fact, ITM transactions are safer and more secure than traditional transactions. They are more accurate because of increased automation and since the Phone Banking Consultant is interacting with only one customer at a time through a two-way screen, offering more personalized service.
