First National Bank recently announced a $50,000 contribution to the Midcoast Recreation Center toward the main lounge area as part of their Campaign for a Healthy Future.
The Midcoast Recreation Center (MRC) in a non-profit multi-faceted recreation, fitness, and community center located on a 21-acre campus in Rockport. Their ongoing campaign will enable them to build an 8-court indoor pickleball facility, 4 outdoor tennis courts, and greatly improve their interior community space and exterior parking and walkways. Construction began on the project on April 7th. The campaign goal is $5.5 million and the MRC has raised $4.7 million to date.
